This item was not manufactured with traditional shrink wrap that you have to rip open, rather it was packaged in a plastic pouch with an adhesive enclosure seal (see last image). This item has not been removed from its original packaging. This is a Japanese release. This is why Japanese writing appears on the packaging. Despite being imported from Japan, the game cartridge is region-free (the Nintendo Switch is a region-free system). Again, the game will play on any Nintendo Switch console in the world, including Switch consoles manufactured for the United States. This game supports English text despite being a Japanese release.
